See that girl on the right? That’s me, Sarah Dee. That’s always been me. The one the teacher is sighing at, trying not to smile at and in many cases, frustrated with because I just keep coming up with new ideas or new ways of thinking about things. The one with energy and spirit to burn. The one who will go to practice – and come up with a new play or a new idea of how to outsmart our next opponent.
For 20 years, I’ve been channeling that energy and spirit and let’s-look-at-this-upside-down attitude into creating the most memorable events and programming I can imagine. I’ve specialized in helping non-profit organizations raise crucial funding at annual auctions, golf tournaments, and other unique events. I’ve worked with organizations such as the Missouri Valley Conference, Kansas City Sports Commission, WIN for KC, Girls on the Run, Bishop Miege High School, Gordon Parks Elementary School and many others.
i’ve worked with a number of organizations to help create efficiencies and implement strategic programming and initiatives that have helped them grow and thrive. One of my greatest joys is seeing a program or initiative through to success.
And one bright November day in 2015, I helped organize the biggest parade Kansas City has ever seen when the Royals rode downtown with a World Series trophy.
